ACAI BOWL!! Packed with Protein, the most important macronutrient for humans because of the numerous roles protein plays in the body. Whenever the body is growing, repairing or replacing tissue, proteins are involved. The main function of protein is to build and repair, as well as sustain muscle. Berries contain antioxidants called polyphenols, which are anti-inflammatory to the body and can promote optimum health + vitality. Chia helps to pump up the omega 3 fatty acid profile. Benefits of omega 3 include helping to lower cholesterol levels, reduce high blood pressure, improving symptoms of arthritis and improved mental health. Bananas are a great source of potassium that helps to regulate muscle contraction and fluid balance. Leafy greens and superfoods are anti-inflammatory and help support immune function.


1 frozen bananas
1/2 cup frozen blue berries
1 packet of frozen açai berry (available at Woolworths)
1/4 of a frozen avacado
Dash or water or almond milk


granola or meusli
2 handfuls fresh blueberries and strawberries for the top – Use other fresh fruits if you prefer.
Sprinkle of seeds and nuts and/or coconut

  • Combine the frozen blueberries, avocado, acia, bananas, milk/water, into a high performance blender like a Thermomix or good blender.
    Blend until smooth and creamy – adding a little more milk depending on the consistency you like.

  • Pour or spoon into 2 bowls.

  • Garnish the tops with fresh berries, coconut, nuts and seeds.
