HOMEMADE GRANOLA BAR

INGREDIENTS
  • 5 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao butter

  • 3-4 tablespoons raw cacao

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 cup raw bukinis (from Greenies Real Food)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

  • ½ cup of mixed pumpkin and sunflower seeds

  • ½ cup dried cranberries and/or goji berries

  • 1 cup crushed almonds

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 

  • Pinch of salt

METHOD
  1. Line a tin with baking paper. I use a tin that you would make brownies in.

  2. Melt the Coconut oil and raw cacao butter in double boiler. So have one pan on top of another that has boiling water in it underneath.

  3. Once melted add in your reaming ingredients and stir till combined.

  4. Pour into your prepared tin, sprinkle on top a few more cranberries and punpkin seeds and place in the freezer to set

  5. I break mine up so they are all uneven and rustic and place in a container and leave in the freezer till you want a snack.
     

Goes lovely with a pot of herbal tea
