Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and analgesics are among the most common treatment methods.
Inflammation can be both a cause and consequence of many conditions and is frequently characterised by pain, heat and swelling of the affected area. Joint pain is a common inflammatory symptom seen in arthritic and osteoarthritic patients. Inflammation may also be associated with toxicity and oxidative stress.
